Hard money lenders with no credit check
None of them. Of the thirteen direct fix-and-flip lenders on our comparison table, not one advertises lending without a credit check, and several name a credit report or credit authorisation in their required documents.
That is worth saying plainly, because pages ranking for this question tend to imply otherwise. What is true is that hard money removes several other checks a conventional mortgage insists on, and those are almost certainly what you are looking for.

What the lenders publish about credit
Groundfloor lists credit authorisation among its required documents, alongside the contract or deed, a scope of work, identification and one month of bank statements. Temple View Capital, which is broker-channel and not in our comparison table, states that qualification rests on experience, an acceptable borrower entity, and a satisfactory background and credit report — a credit requirement with no number attached.
Kiavi and LendingOne publish no minimum credit score on their fix-and-flip pages. That is an absence of a published figure, not an absence of a check, and it should not be read as the second thing. Kiavi does state that seeing a rate involves no hard credit pull, which is a different and narrower claim.
Everyone else publishes a floor: Easy Street and Private Money Lenders 600, AccoLend and We Lend 620, Groundfloor 640, New Silver 650, Brookview and Lima One 660, OfferMarket 680.
The checks hard money genuinely does skip
Income verification is the big one. Kiavi states no income verification. LendingOne states no W-2s and no tax returns, qualifying on after-repair value and project scope instead. Groundfloor states no personal income verification on its asset-based fix-and-flip loans. If a conventional lender has turned you down over documented income, this is the difference that matters.
The appraisal is the second. Kiavi charges no third-party appraisal and uses an in-house valuation. Easy Street usually does the same on EasyFix. That is a meaningful operational difference on a distressed or vacant property — New Silver, by contrast, requires an appraisal with interior access and six comparable sales within five miles sold in the last twelve months.
The hard credit pull is the third, and it is the one closest to what the search actually means. Kiavi and New Silver both publish that you can get terms — an instant term sheet and a proof-of-funds letter in New Silver's case — without a hard pull. The pull happens later in the process, not before you can see numbers.
What to ask for instead
If the concern is a low score, the useful question is what the published floor is and what it is conditioned on, because every low floor in this set is paid for with experience. If the concern is a hard inquiry, ask whether terms can be quoted from a soft pull. If the concern is documentation, ask about income verification and appraisal specifically — those are the two that vary most across these thirteen lenders.
A lender that genuinely advertised no credit check at all would be underwriting the property alone, and would price for it. None of them does that, and a page telling you otherwise is not reading the lenders' own pages.

Common questions
- Are there hard money lenders with no credit check?
- Not among the thirteen direct fix-and-flip lenders on our comparison table. Several name a credit report or credit authorisation in their required documents, and nine of the thirteen publish a minimum credit score. Four publish no score, which means the number is unpublished rather than that no check happens. One of them, Private Money Lenders, publishes that no soft credit pull runs at all until you accept a quote — which is the closest thing here to what people mean when they search for this.
- Can I get a rate without a hard credit pull?
- Yes, at some lenders. Kiavi states there is no hard credit pull to see a rate. New Silver publishes an instant term sheet and a proof-of-funds letter with no hard pull. That is genuinely useful when you are comparing several lenders at once, because it lets you gather quotes without stacking inquiries.
- What does hard money check instead of credit?
- The property and the plan, mostly. Lenders in this set publish that they qualify on after-repair value, the scope of work and the borrower's experience. Several state no income verification and no tax returns. Credit is one input among those rather than the gate it is on a conventional mortgage — but it is still an input, and most of these lenders publish a floor for it.
